Six UK casinos ranked for the phone.
Slot Shortlist is an independent, affiliate-funded comparison of licensed Great Britain casinos. We do not operate games, hold player accounts or handle stakes. The ranking below is built around native apps, mobile web and whether a live table is actually usable in one hand.
Method
How the scores are built
Each operator on this page holds a remote licence from the UK Gambling Commission. We check the public register, the licensed domain, and the legal entity named in the operator’s own terms. Licence numbers below are those we could match to that register; if a field could not be verified, it is omitted.
The numeric score is out of 10. Mobile and app quality carry the most weight: native iOS and Android clients, whether the full casino (including live dealer) runs in-app, and how the lobby behaves in a mobile browser. Game range, live-casino studios, support hours and how clearly a welcome offer is described make up the rest. Placement on this page can be influenced by affiliate relationships — see the disclosure. Editorial scores are not sold.
This is a reviews site, not a payments guide. We do not cover deposits, withdrawals or payout speed.

01
Kwiff
8.1 / 10
Kwiff launched in 2015 as a mobile-first bookmaker built around Supercharge: a random odds boost applied after a bet is struck. The casino tab now lives in the same iOS and Android apps, with slots from studios such as Pragmatic Play and Play’n GO and live tables from Evolution and Pragmatic Play Live — useful if you already hold a Kwiff sports account, less of a destination if you only want a casino client.

02
BetVictor
8.4 / 10
The Chandler bookmaking name dates to 1946; the British digital product is run by BV Gaming Limited. Casino sits beside the sportsbook in native apps, with Playtech slots (including Age of the Gods) and live tables from Evolution, Playtech Live and Pragmatic Play. The iOS client is the stronger of the two store apps; Android users often get a cleaner session from the mobile site.

03
Paddy Power
8.7 / 10
Flutter’s Irish flagship puts racing, football and casino under one of the most widely installed gambling apps in Britain. The casino lobby is not the largest on this list — think a working mix of slots, live dealer and game shows rather than a warehouse — but it is fully present in the native clients, which is the point of this ranking. Casino activity on paddypower.com is licensed through PPB Games Limited.

04
MrQ
8.9 / 10
Tek Fox Ltd runs a single consumer brand: casino, live dealer and bingo, with no sportsbook bolted on. Native apps sit on both the App Store and Google Play, and the live lobby (roulette, blackjack, game shows such as Crazy Time) is built for a phone. Promotions are published with no wagering on winnings — a structural difference from the rest of this ledger, and the reason MrQ leads the mobile score.

05
FitzBet
7.6 / 10
Fitzwilliam’s mass-market online brand is the newest name here, launched on EveryMatrix rather than a decade of in-house app work. That stack still delivers a joined-up sportsbook-plus-casino, with slots from houses such as Pragmatic Play and Hacksaw and a live tab covering tables and game shows. Native iOS and Android apps exist; they are early, so the score reflects a working product, not a long store history.

06
Lucky Vegas
7.2 / 10
Skill On Net’s Vegas-themed casino is a library-first product: thousands of slots from houses such as Play’n GO, NetEnt, Blueprint and Pragmatic Play, plus Evolution and Pragmatic live tables. An Android app is available; iPhone use is through the mobile browser, which is competent but is not the same as a native client. That gap is why it sits at the foot of a ranking built around apps.

Safety & support
Questions
Safety and apps
Safety
Yes. Each brand on this page is offered under a UK Gambling Commission remote licence. The legal entity and account number sit on the ticket. Confirm them on the UKGC public register before you create an account. Slot Shortlist is not the Commission and does not issue licences.
GamStop is the national online self-exclusion scheme. A registration covers every UKGC-licensed remote operator — including all six here — for the period you choose (six months, one year or five years). It does not block premises, the National Lottery, or sites that are not licensed in Britain. If you need that wider net, speak to GamCare about additional tools.
Apps
No. Every operator here also runs a mobile website. Apps matter on this shortlist because they change how quickly you reach live tables, how login works, and whether push notifications exist. Lucky Vegas is the outlier: Android has a store app; iPhone use is through the browser.
Paddy Power’s app is a polished Flutter sports-and-casino client with huge distribution. MrQ’s apps are casino-native: no sportsbook competing for the home screen, live tables built for a small viewport, and promotions that do not add wagering. For a ranking that weights mobile casino play, that combination scores higher. It is not a claim that Paddy Power is a weak product.
Treat the line on each ticket as a type, not a promise of a figure. Open the operator’s own terms and look for wagering, game weighting, expiry and max-bet rules. MrQ is unusual on this list because it publishes no wagering on winnings. Other brands typically attach playthrough. We explain the common structures on promotions explained.
